| α-GST
Alpha-Glutathione S-transferase (α-GST) is an important isozyme within the glutathione S-transferase (GST) family, consisting of 200-240 amino acids with a molecular weight of approximately 23-29 kDa. Its structure comprises an N-terminal GST domain and a C-terminal α-helical domain. The N-terminal domain is responsible for binding glutathione (GSH), while the C-terminal domain is involved in substrate recognition and signal transduction. α-GST is primarily distributed in tissues such as the liver, kidneys, and small intestine, with particularly high abundance in the liver. Its gene is located on human chromosome 10, and its expression is regulated by multiple factors.| Typical data
As the OD values of the standard curve may vary according to the conditions of the actual assay performance (e.g. operator, pipetting technique, wash technique or temperature effects), the operator should establish a standard curve for each test. Typical standard curve and data are provided below for reference only.| Concentration (pg/mL) | 5000 | 2500 | 1250 | 625 | 312 | 156 | 78 | 0 |

| Repeatability
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay):CV% < 10%; Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays):CV% < 10%| Recovery
The recovery of Human α-GST spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.| Sample Type | Range(%) | Average Recovery(%) |

| Linearity
Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Human α-GST and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.| Serum(n=4) | Plasma(n=4) | Cell Culture Supernates(n=4) | ||
